Hidden Recipe Cafe @ Sungai Dua, Penang

Hidden Recipe has been a popular dining places for students in USM. They have the slogan "A Place where friends meet", and we thought it is true. Parents in the neighborhood love to bring their kids here too. They have a wide range of menu offering: Western, Chinese and fusion of both. It tooks us a while to glance through the menu to make up our mind. The interior is simple but cozy and homey.

Hawaiian Chicken Set (RM 12.90) came with mushroom soup, bread, main course, longan drink and corn ice cream. There was a generous amount of boneless chicken pieces served, more than what we expected. For just RM12.90, it definitely worth the every pennies that we spend for this dish.

We like the hearty idea that separating the hawaiian sauce. It allows us adding the sauce bit by bit as we eat along to the cheesy topped rice.

Intrigued by its name, we ordered Fish Mont Blanc (RM 18.90). Nevertheless, we cannot find any association of the name - Mont Blanc, either referring to the mountain peak of Alps or the luxury brand to this particular dish. It was a simple dish that could fulfill the hunger, considering the relatively large portion of it.
