Berjaya Times Square Hotel @ Kuala Lumpur

Visiting to Kuala Lumpur is rendered incomplete if you missed out the Golden Triangle, which is famous as the commercial, shopping and entertainment's hub. The Golden Triangle is formed from 3 roads, namely Jalan Imbi, Jalan Sultan Ismail and Jalan Raja Chulan. As the name "Golden Triangle" suggests, the hotels within the vicinity should bear a premium high tags, otherwise it would be some budget hotels with ratings less than 3 stars.

However, recently we discovered Berjaya Times Square Hotel has a very reasonable rate. The superior room cost about RM 200 - RM 250++ and it was spacious!

The design of the room is a slightly old school but who cares? As long as it fits my budget and provides me a decent place to stay. The King's size bed is alright to provide me for a good night sleep. Just in case you have a snoring partner who will be staying with you, you are most welcome to kick him to sleep on the couch!

I liked the design of the TV where it can be tilted to face the couch or bedroom.

There is a "kitchen" area in the room with all the complimentary coffee, tea and water bottles put here.  I doubt whether cooking is allowed or not.

The toilet is fantastic as toilet bowl and bathing area are separated. I never enjoyed the idea of having toilet bowl and shower room / bath tub together. Some people just like to spend too much time in the toilet in the early morning.

The view from the hotel room is magnificent during day and night hour. It allows you to have a glimpse at the cityscape of Kuala Lumpur.

Please be reminded that breakfast charge is exclusive from the hotel rate. It cost RM 40 for the breakfast and the selections were just mediocre.

Overall, it was a nice stay in Berjaya Times Square Hotel. The close proximity to the shopping malls is an advantage for staying over here.
